The new interface between the Alert PSS RESPONDER CAD system and Locution Systems’ fire station alerting system allows critical information about 911 calls to be quickly and easily transferred from the Alert PSS RESPONDER CAD system to Locution Systems’ CADVoice®. The Alert PSS RESPONDER CAD system serves as the “brains” of the 911 dispatching process in a 911 communications center. Once a dispatcher has reviewed and approved the information from the Alert PSS RESPONDER CAD about a specific 911 call, the Alert PSS RESPONDER CAD system now can automatically route data about that 911 call to a Locution Systems computer server located in the same 911 communications center.

Once data from the Alert PSS RESPONDER CAD reaches the Locution Systems computer server, Locution Systems’ fire station alerting system then takes over and automatically routes the 911 dispatch to its intended destination, where it can automatically vocalize the information from the 911 dispatch at a fire station, or over the fire department’s radio system. Locution Systems’ fire station alerting system also offers a wide array of additional fire station alerting technologies including: automated zoned dispatching for multi-unit fire stations, automated visual alerting such as displaying 911 dispatch information on LED monitors and LED reader boards, automated count-up timers which tell fire-EMS responders the time it’s taking them to reach the apparatus bay, automated tone alerts, automated apparatus bay doors, and much more.
